Rules

Page history last edited by JP_Sartre 3 yrs ago

If there is a rule that you think should fit here, don't be afraid to add it! Even the rules are collaborative in this wiki.

Don't be academic

This is NOT an encyclopaedia, it's a recource from and for the Reason community. So there's no need to explain everything like it belongs in a university textbook. It's ok to adress the reader, and to say things like "this is a really cool feature", etc... Nobody will judge you, au contraire, text written this way is often more fun to read and to learn from.

Keep it short

However, try not to anything with more words than is absolutely necessary. This is meant to be a fast source of info, meaning that one should be able to learn a lot reading a little. You should try to find a good balance between this rule and the previous one.

No large pics, please

Server space is limited, so please upload no pictures larger then, say 200 KB. And even those should be a rarity.

Be bold in editing

You probably already know this one from wikipedia :) Don't be affraid to edit stuff other people wrote. That's what a wiki is for. That applies even to tutorials, articles... Nothing is exclusively owned by one author. E.g. if you can explain a step from a tutorial better, do so.
